Conquest Announces a New Era for Whitsundays Luxury Tourism

SUMMARY

Conquest has finalised the strategic acquisition of one of the Whitsundays’ most significant and closely watched development sites, Coconut Grove, Airlie Beach.

Spanning 14,000sqm of prime waterfront land within the Port of Airlie marina precinct, the acquisition marks Conquest’s high-conviction entry into the Queensland luxury tourism market.

The group intends to transform the long-dormant site into a world-class, staged destination with an estimated end value of $300 million.

The Coconut Grove site is the "jewel in the crown" of Airlie Beach’s remaining development pipeline.

The acquisition lands at a pivotal moment for Australian tourism. Conquest’s move follows a broader trend of institutional capital increasing exposure to high-quality, domestic tourism assets.
