Conquest proudly supports the Cyprus Food & Wine Festival at Eastlakes Sports Club
Eastlakes came alive with the sights, sounds and flavours of Cyprus as families, local residents and visitors gathered for the Cyprus Food & Wine Festival at Eastlakes Sports Club.
Conquest was proud to support the event, which brought the community together for a vibrant celebration of Cypriot food, wine, music, dance and cultural tradition.
Throughout the day, guests enjoyed traditional dishes, live entertainment, cultural performances, market stalls and activities for the whole family. The festival created an opportunity for generations to come together, celebrate their heritage and share the warmth of Cypriot hospitality with the wider Sydney community.
With roots in Sydney dating back to the late 1950s, the festival has grown from small community gatherings into a longstanding celebration of Cypriot culture. It continues to preserve traditions carried to Australia by earlier generations, while creating new memories for families and younger members of the community.
Hosting the festival in Eastlakes reflected the area’s strong cultural diversity and sense of connection. Events such as this contribute to the character of the community by creating opportunities for people to gather, share traditions and build stronger local relationships.
